Dental Check Up
Visiting your dentist every 6 months is ideal for optimal dental health. If you want to keep your teeth for ‘life’, regular dental maintenance is essential. At your checkup /examination appointment, our dentists will check your teeth for any minor problems that can become big problems later on, we evaluate the health of your gums and do a thorough oral health screening to detect for early cancer, diabetes or vitamin deficiency.
Teeth Scale & Clean
Gum disease is the number one reason for losing teeth. Gum disease progresses slowly, causing recession of the soft tissues and bone that surrounds and supports the teeth, without causing pain. If your gums bleed, feel tender or if your teeth are loose, it may be too late. You can prevent gum disease by brushing and flossing regularly and seeing your dentist for a scale and clean every 6 months. If you have already been diagnosed with gum disease you may have to have a more regular scale and cleans with your dentist.
