Take home whitening is a gentler whitening process. It consists of having impressions taken in which we construct custom bleach trays which will allow the bleach gel to make maximum contact with your teeth. The whitening gel is placed in these trays and placed over your teeth, for a period of time recommended by your dentist. Take home whitening is recommended for patients with sensitive teeth.
In-chair, whitening can offer much faster results than take-home whitening. Your dentist will begin with a clean to remove any debris from your teeth, then apply the bleach gel to the surface of your teeth which is then activated by light.
